New Employee Hiring Process

Its unbelievable how disconnected the processes are for small companies when they hire a new employee.

The hiring process starts with a job posting, then resumes come in, then an offer letter, then equipment needs to be ordered or setup like a computer and chairs. Then they need email, phone, maybe cards, keys and training.

We have two new employees starting today at HubPages. The first part the day will be spent doing paperwork for benefits. This all filled out by hand and faxed to Administaff. Why?

With all the progress that’s been made, there is still a ton to improve just with the workflow of hiring new people. Especially for small businesses.
